About Sophia Salenius

Ms Salenius is the Managing Director of RegPoint Ltd, a health services company focused on bringing wireless technology to the global healthcare community. RegPoint Ltd is a forerunner on mHealth applications and services.

Ms Salenius is a management and healthcare professional and a leading expert in the international IT healthcare and mHealth field. Ms Salenius is a Registered nurse and holds a BSc in Computer Integrated Business Economics (CIBE).

Ms Salenius experience in disease management with IT goes back to the 90’s. In 2003 her team ported over their disease management service from PDA´s to mobile technology. This was the first mHealth application.

Her extensive experience has rendered her invitations to speak on the topic of disease management supported by technology – mHealth – on numerous conferences during the past 10 years in China, US, UAE, Scandinavia and the UK.

Her dedication to improving quality of life is well known in Europe and Asia and is the reason she was dubbed the “IT Florence Nightingale” by Landstingsvärlden, a Swedish medical journal. Ms Salenius’ medical experience and business experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and IT domains is unique and ensures a thorough grasp of the challenges surrounding any disease or catastrophe management solution.

Since 1996 Ms Salenius is a member of the not-for-profit organisation CPTM. The mission of CPTM is to enhance National capabilities for the creation of and participation in global wealth, through sound Technology Management and using Public / Private Sector Partnerships. Members are drawn from Commonwealth Governments and  Private & Public Sector Companies.
